These mood boards were created during School of Motion’s Design for Motion bootcamp.
The challenge: develop two distinct art directions for a Sprint campaign promoting its “Unlimited Data” plans, ensuring the styles remain on-brand while offering flexibility for various promotions.
The mood boards and the style frames below feature imagery that is not my own, used solely to illustrate the intended concept and visual direction.
Under the Sky taps into the lifestyle of the modern nomad—freelancers, travelers, and remote workers who refuse to be tied down. Using moody yet inviting tones and real-world imagery—planes, vans, open landscapes—it conveys a sense of ultimate freedom. The sky becomes a metaphor for unlimited possibilities, mirroring Sprint’s promise: no limits, no restrictions, just seamless connectivity wherever life takes you.
Connection leans into the visual language of technology, with a bold, high-contrast aesthetic. Circuit boards, neuron-inspired mesh, and glowing cityscapes illustrate an interconnected world powered by Sprint’s high-speed network. The final frame reinforces this idea—abstract human figures, formed from millions of dots, emerging from a dark background. It’s futuristic, fast, and expansive, symbolizing the invisible yet vital web of connections that Sprint enables.
